Tanya Hall

B.Sci (Psych), PostGradDipPsych, MPsych (Clinical), MAPS, Cert IV Training and Assessment, Cert IV Program Development and Facilitation
Tanya is a Clinical Psychologist and co-director of Mindware Psychology, bringing a wealth of experience in working with teens through to older adults. She provides support for a wide range of mental health concerns, from life adjustments, anxiety, and depression to more complex challenges such as complex PTSD (CPTSD), eating disorders, functional neurological disorder (FND), and relationship difficulties. Tanya also has extensive experience in grief and loss, helping individuals navigate significant changes and emotional challenges.
With over 10 years of experience in corporate and organisational training, Tanya also works with businesses and teams to enhance workplace well-being, leadership, and resilience. She delivers tailored training, workshops, and programs designed to support mental health, team dynamics, and professional growth.
 
Tanya is trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, including:
    • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
    • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
    • Gottman Method Couples Counselling
    • Schema Therapy
    • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
    • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
    • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
She is passionate about delivering outdoor therapy and innovative group programs, offering dynamic and engaging ways for clients to work through personal challenges.
A dedicated educator and supervisor, Tanya is a Board-Registered Supervisor for provisional psychologists and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), reflecting her commitment to training and mentoring future psychologists. She is also an affirming practitioner, ensuring her clients feel safe, heard, and supported.
Tanya is actively involved in community mental health, supporting organisations such as Momentum Mental Health and other local agencies. She combines clinical excellence with a warm, down-to-earth approach, helping her clients build resilience, improve relationships, and move towards a more fulfilling life.
