Stacey is a Provisional Psychologist and qualified Play Therapist who brings a warm, genuine, and client-centred approach to her practice. With a background in Child and Youth Mental Health, she has a particular passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional, behavioural, developmental, and mental health challenges.
Stacey’s approach is informed by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and the importance of the parent–child relationship in supporting emotional regulation, connection, and safety. She works collaboratively with clients and families, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Child Centred Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), within a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based framework.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and an Advanced Certificate in Play Therapy. She is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology, further developing her knowledge and skills in child, adolescent, adult, and family mental health.
