Veronica is a Clinical Psychologist and co-director of Mindware Psychology, with 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She works with people experiencing a broad range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, postnatal depression, grief and loss (oncology and general), adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, trauma, and experiences of sexual abuse. She also has experience supporting children with mood and anxiety difficulties.
Veronica has a particular passion for supporting people through grief and loss (Oncology/Cancer & General) , an area she has developed further through her work with Hope Horizons, a community-based cancer support service. She also has a special interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy issues and PTSD. Veronica has been closely involved in the development of the Garden of Feelings program, which has been delivered across a number of schools to help children develop a greater understanding of their emotions and wellbeing.
Alongside her therapeutic work, Veronica provides psychological assessment across the lifespan. Her assessment experience includes NDIS Functional Psychological Assessments, Specific Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability assessments.
Veronica draws on a diverse range of evidence-based and creative therapeutic approaches, adapting her work to suit the individual needs, strengths, and circumstances of each client. These include:

- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) — Child and Adult
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Mindfulness-Based Interventions
- Clinical EFT (Tapping)
- Gottman Couple Therapy – Level 1 and 2 trained
- Child Therapy, including Sandplay Therapy, Theraplay, and play-based interventions
Veronica is also passionate about education and professional development. She is a AHPRA Board Registered Clinical Supervisor and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), where she supports the learning and development of future psychologists. She values the opportunity to share her experience and contribute to the ongoing growth of the profession.
